All bookings through Mauri Travel (UK) Ltd. are protected by a new insurance product called Supplier Failure Cover. It means if the supplier of any aspects of your holiday delays your departure, cancels, or goes into liquidation your costs of replacing those aspects are covered. With most other schemes you are only protected up to the price you originally paid, and so if an airline collapsed and you had to book alternative flights at a higher price, you would have to pay the difference. With our FREE Supplier Failure Cover (SFC) this cost is covered.

What vaccination should I have when visiting Mauritius?

Required vaccination to visit Mauritius?

There are no prescribed vaccinations that have to be taken while travelling to Mauritius. It's your own choice to do so. At the moment, Mauritius is not going through any health crisis situations. No outbreaks of viruses such as malaria for example which is widely spread out in Africa.A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for all travellers over 1 year of age and coming from infected areas. Infected areas are those areas which according to the World Health Organisation are included in the endemic zones.
